Welcome to Liuxon

Vision

Liuxon specializes in seismic designs of pipelines, multi-use infrastructures and transfer of cryogenic fluids. Liuxon's solutions are innovative and offer significant safety enhancement and cost reduction. Its loading systems with cryogenic hoses offer unbeatable flexbility at a fraction of cost compared to hard arms. Liuxon's Super Bayou concept transforms existing bayou spaces into multi-use: water conveyance with tripled capacity during extreme weather and a road/trail in the middle of bayou for traffic during normal weather. Liuxon's expertise in engineering of hot/cryogenic pipelines and seismic design lends peace of mind to our clients.

Liuxon Highlights

Design and construction supervision of a 3-story house with many innovative features aimed at off-grid living and cost reduction (2022-2024).

Developed a mobile floater train that travels along a lay barge and applies buoyancy to a heavy offshore pipeline around the sagbend during S-lay (2020).

Developed Super Bayou concept with reinforced concrete box-shaped conduit to retain earth banks, create additional space for water conveyance and support traffic during normal weather conditions (patented, 2019).

Reviewed articles submitted to Journal of Structure and Infrastructure Engineering (2013-2015).

Developed mobile systems for transfer of any fluids between two ships or between a ship and a station (offshore and onshore). It offers unbeatable flexibility and performance at a half price or less (patented, 2015).

Developed Relaxing LNG Transfer System, a patented technology for LNG transfer between ship and shore. The system is approved by ABS (AIP) and ready for implementation (2013).

Co-authored a monograph entitled Seismic Design of Buried and Offshore Pipelines. The book covers both onshore and offshore pipelines subjected to earthquake effects with criteria for strain-based design (2012).

Assisted in sealing BP's well in the Gulf of Mexico. A cap with open valve was essential for avoiding gas hydrate and for setting onto the crippled blow-out preventer (2010).
